On Thursday, several prominent leaders exercised their voting rights at the start of the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Union Minister Giriraj Singh cast their votes at polling stations in Lakhisarai, while Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as 'Lalan', voted in the state capital, Patna.
Leaders Encourage Voter Participation
After casting his vote, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh emphasized the importance of voting, stating, "This is a grand festival of democracy; everyone should participate. First vote, then enjoy." He expressed confidence that under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership, Bihar would see the formation of a strong government once again.
Notable Figures Participate in Voting
State Minister for Road Construction Nitin Nawin also voted at a polling station in the Digha assembly constituency alongside his wife, Deepmala Srivastava. Singer-turned-politician and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Khesari Lal Yadav voted in Ekma, Saran district. Additionally, BJP leader Bikhubhai Dalsania arrived early at the polling center to cast his vote.

At the Veterinary College booth in Patna, RJD chief Lalu Prasad voted with his family, including Rabri, Tejashwi, his wife Rajshri, and sister Misa Bharti.
Appeals for Voter Engagement
Tejashwi Yadav, the chief ministerial candidate for the Grand Alliance and RJD leader, urged citizens to vote, considering both the future and the present. Divya Gautam, the Grand Alliance candidate from the Digha assembly seat in Patna, also made her way to the polling station to exercise her voting rights.
Unique Voting Enthusiasm in Vaishali
In Vaishali district, a local leader made a memorable entrance to a polling station by riding a buffalo, encouraging others to participate in the voting process.
